It is very sad to report that our much loved Club President and club legend Brian Biggs, passed away yesterday. He lived in Raynes Park all his life and absolutely loved the club.

Brian played for Raynes Park Vale's previous incarnation Southern Railway from when he was 18 in 1954 and then in 1964 Southern Railway became Raynes Park FC.
Raynes Park FC played in Green and Amber quarters back then. Brian loved the club's bi-annual summer tours to France where he made lifelong friends. After he finished playing he was a referee for years.

The above photograph shows Raynes Park Vale club President Brian Biggs in April 2023 with the CCL Premier South Championship Trophy, an occasion that moved him to tears of joy and emotion. Centre Back Reece Hannigan gave 'Biggsy' his winners medal, a gesture that meant so much to Brian.

The recent Raynes Park Vale success had delighted Brian. He supported the Vale home and away and he will be hugely missed by all at the club. He was a great footballing man and his connection and dedication to the club spanned 7 decades. His contribution to the club was immense.

RIP Brian 1936-2024

Our deepest condolences to Brian’s family
